Heading to Miami? Visiting Little Havana for food, coffee, and fun is a must!
This week while visiting Miami, FL we decided to visit the famous Cuban community in the city known as Little Havana. Since Miami has such strong ties to many Latin American countries, we thought visiting one of those neighborhoods would be a nice way to experience a different side of the city.
Our first stop of the day was to try authentic Cuban coffee at Cafe Versailles. While this restaurant does have a sit down restaurant option, we chose to do as the locals do and order our coffee at the walkup window. We ordered two special drinks while there: (1) Cafe con Leche and (1) Cafe Cubano and both were delicious!
Our second stop was at Sanguich de Miami where we tried an authentic Cabano sandwich, and to say it was delicious would be an understatement. List after list online kept telling us this was where we could find the BEST Cubano sandwich in Miami, and it seems those lists were right! The sandwich was fresh, warm, and so full of flavor!
After we got our food fill we headed to the main downtown section of Little Havana to visit Domino Park, checkout the Walk of Fame, enjoy salsa dancing and live music at the Ball and Chain, and eat some special Cuban ice cream at Azucar Ice Cream.
