I was strolling around Bangkok, and decided to go on a little Bangkok street drink tour!
Even though the weather get’s very hot and humid in Bangkok, the good thing is that you could find something to hydrate you in pretty much every corner.
The first thing I reached for was the traditional Thai drink, Thai Iced Tea. This bag of goodness is filled with red tea, scoops of condensed milk, creamer and filled with plenty of crushed ice. The sweetness is certainly obvious, but at times is over powered by the strong red tea flavor. Very delicious little beverage for those of you with a sweet tooth.
Next up was a gift from mother nature herself. This fresh coconut was chopped right in front of me and is filled with nothing but goodness. The sweet subtle coconut flavor is also packed with electrolytes, potassium, antioxidants and vitamins, making it a ball of healthy hydration. But once your done with the coconut water, be sure to eat the coconut flesh on the inside. The white crunchy flesh is not only eatable, but deliciously good for you.
Third, I went for something I see all the time around Bangkok. And that is the freshly squeezed orange juice. This little bottle of orange is 100% with no added sugars or preservatives. Sitting on a bed crushed ice, the sweet tang is bursting with delicious orange flavor and is such a yummy refreshment.
Lastly, I couldn’t decided what other fruit juices to have so I went with a mixture! The smoothly I chose had a mix of exotic fruits which include; passion fruit, guava, papaya, dragon fruit, pineapple, apple and cantaloupe. Blended together with ice, this cup of super fruits was sweet, delicious and definitely refreshing!
