And lastly we had the Ethiopian Berbere hot sauce.

In this restaurant I have tried a dish called Dullet which is a a spicy mixture of tripe, liver beef, and peppers.

It is served with Mitmita, which is an Ethiopian Spicy powdered seasoning mix, and a red hot sauce that very much resembles Zhug – which is the Yemeni hot sauce.

One of the customers (Avi) has shared with me his grilled lamb dish that is called Yebeg Tibs.

I liked his dish more than I liked my dish, and it was my favorite in the whole tour.

Three sisters own this restaurant, and they have been running it for the past 9 years.

I have ordered an incredible mixed meat dish which includes several meat dishes inside it.

It is Injira bread on a tray with salad in the middle of it, and then 4 stews around the salad.

The meats are ground beef, then Goulash (which is a stew of meat that is not spicy at all), Goulash dip that is spicy, and finally potato and carrot dip.

One of the most well known restaurants in Tel Aviv serving authentic Ethiopian food is called Lucy.

The Lucy restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the Habash restaurant.

This time I have invited my younger brother to eat with me.

The first thing I saw when I entered the kitchen was a beautiful vegetarian dish that was prepared for another customer, and it is called Firfir.

It is a combination of shredded Injera bread that is mixed with berbere spice, black paper, spicy paprika, garlic, onion, and tomato.

I ordered a dish called Tibs. Which is beef, pan-fried with peppers, onions, garlic, a touch of rosemary, and it is served with salad.

My brother ordered two different beef dishes that were mixed together (one of the beef dishes is called Alicha Sega Wot, and the other is called Kai Sega Wot).

Alicha Sega Wot contains beef cubes that are prepared with curry, and various spices)

And Kai Sega Wot contains beef cubes with red Ethiopian pepper sauce, and additional spices.

Both dishes were served with yellow beans, green lentils, red lentils, and shiro – which is a stew that combines yellow lentils with allot of spices.

My dish was served with two additional hot spices (a green one that tastes like Wasabi, and a red one).

My brother and I both agreed that our meals were off the charts.
