QP EATS AUSTIN: Modern Vietnamese Food in South Austin | Food Vlog Episode 10
Hello Everyone!
I hope you are doing well! I am Vietnamese so I like to believe I’ve tried pretty much every Vietnamese dish out there. However, when I stumbled across Pho With Us Vietnamese restaurant, I noticed there were some items on the menu that I had never tried before. Pho With Us incorporates a modern fusion to traditional Vietnamese foods in dishes such as their Pho Lobster and Pho French Dip, both dishes that I really enjoyed trying!
I ordered:
• Traditional Vietnamese Fried Eggrolls ($8)- A mixture of ground pork, onions, taro, carrots, & bean thread noodles wrapped in rice paper and deep fried. This is served with lettuce, mint, cilantro, cucumbers, and a sweetened fish sauce.
• Pho French Dip ($12)- Brisket that has been roasted for 12 hours in a hoisin and sriracha glaze with Thai Basil and Beansprouts in a toasted french baguette. Served with a bowl of Pho broth to dip in.
• Pho Lobster ($15)- Lobster tail, scallop, shrimp, & imitation crab served with rice noodles in a beef broth. This comes with a side of their house garlic butter which is phenomenal!
• Three Musketeers Bun Vermicelli Bowl ($11)- Grillled Chicken, Beef, & Shrimp marinated in a Lemongrass Seasoning on top of a bed of vermicelli noodles with chopped lettuce, beansprouts, cucumbers, pickled carrots & daikon radish, cilantro, mint, green onions, and crushed peanuts. Served with sweetened fish sauce.
• Mango Sticky Rice (Complimentary)- Warm sticky rice with fresh, ripened mango drizzled in sweet coconut cream and topped with chopped peanuts.
