The Phuket Weekend Market also known as the Chao Fa Market or Talad Tai, is located on the Chao Fa West Road opposite the Wat Naka, Buddhist temple and about a kilometer from the Central Festival Shopping Mall. We highly recommend that tourists take a taxi or tuk tuk to this night market as it is quite far from the Central Festival Shopping Mall if you do not know where you are heading. We took a Tuk Tuk from Patong Beach to the market and paid 500 Baht for the trip (good price). The journey back to Patong Beach in a taxi (on this occasions) cost us 800 Baht. We would imagine that the drive from Kata Beach, Karon Beach and Kammala Beach with a taxi or Tuk Tuk would be a similar price, perhaps a little more for the Kammala ride…
