One of the first questions we get asked in our shop is, "What is the difference between gelato and ice cream?" Well here it is in a few simple facts.

How It's Made: We source many of our gelato flavours from Italy and use local fruit and dairy. It is made fresh in small batches. As well, it is churned slower to incorporate the least amount of air into the gelato as it is being made, making it denser than ice cream. The end result is a taste experience bursting with flavour. ​ Fat: Gelato has less fat than ice cream.

Temperature: Gelato is kept at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream. This allows the textures to be silker and softer on the pallet.
