Carnival Arts Yard is bringing this event to North Glasgow to highlight the “creative hub” that is the canal community.
Julie Murray, Glasgow Canal Co-op co-director and Carnival Arts Yard director, said: “We’re excited to bring this lively flea-market atmosphere to north Glasgow for the North City Night Market.
“It’s going to be a relaxed and fun evening and is open to all – we can’t wait to welcome people along and brighten up their January.
“Glasgow’s canal and its surrounding neighbourhood is a creative hub tucked away in the north of the city and this event will showcase the close-knit community atmosphere and wealth of talent based in the area.”
On the night, local businesses, artists and makers will be selling artisan goods including arts, crafts, clothing and soaps.
Taco pop-up MASA will be at the event serving Mexican-inspired street food.
People looking to sell some second-hand gems will also be part of the market and bartering and swapping will be encouraged.
It will take place in a warehouse at 1 Borron Street, located just 15 minutes away from Cowcaddens Subway Station.
