✓ This really is a genuine treat because we’re finally getting to visit a restaurant that we’ve been wanting to visit for many years now; but quite difficult for us logistically because they’re situated in Bradford and we’re in London (200 miles away), so on our recent visit “Up North” we had to have them down on our “restaurants to visit” list.
Even more of a treat because in this video Head Chef Mishra kindly shares some of his recipe secrets for making two of “Desi Indians” most favourite and famous of curry dishes namely “Tandoori Paneer and Vegetable Tikka Masala” + “Palak (Spinach) Paneer” all served with a massive homemade style hand made Chapati.
After tasting the food here at Zouk we are pleased to confirm that that this is now our favourite restaurant up north, because they serve restaurant quality food; but at affordable street food prices………with no service charge added !!! (So you can now perhaps forget Mumtaz, Akbar, Mughuls and………Dial a Roti).
There are so many Vegetarian “Indian Eats” on the menu that we didn’t have a chance to try………so we can’t wait to pay a return visit to taste what we have missed this time around, wink wink!!! 😉

PANEER TIKKA MASALA RECIPE INGREDIENTS REQUIRED (you can adjust the quantity according to taste & requirements):
MARINADE:
* Green, Yellow & Red Capsicum.
* Sliced White Onion.
* Cubes of Paneer.
* Turmeric (Haldi).
* Red Chilli Powder (Lal Mirchu).
* Cumin Powder.
* Coriander Powder.
* Garam Masala.
* Kastoori Methi.
* Fresh Chopped Green Coriander.
* Garlic & Ginger paste.
* Tikka Paste Masala (Yoghurt, Garlic, Ginger, Maggi Stock Cubes, Jeera Powder, Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Salt, Kastoori Methi and Olive Oil).
All of the above are skewered and then charcoal cooked and then stir fried with the following.
- Ginger & Green Chillies finely chopped.
- Vegetable Butter.
- Finely chopped Garlic.
- Salt.
- Turmeric.
- Red Chilli Powder.
- Cumin Powder.
- Coriander Powder.
- Kastoori Methi.
- Onion Sauce.
- Onion Gravy.
- Chopped Tomatoes.
- Desi Ghee.
- Fresh Cream.
- Chopped Green Coriander Leaves.
PALAK PANEER RECIPE INGREDIENTS REQUIRED (you can adjust the quantity according to taste & requirements):
- Ginger & Green Chillies finely chopped.
- Vegetable Butter.
- Cubes of Paneer.
- Salt.
- Turmeric.
- Red Chilli Powder.
- Cumin Powder.
- Coriander Powder.
- Kastoori Methi.
- Onion Sauce.
- Cooked Spinach.
- Onion Gravy.
- Water.
All of the above was served with an unbuttered Chapatti (but it would go just as well with a tandoori naan bread or roti).
