It doesn’t get any better (or cheaper) than this. We absolutely love down to earth, honest places like this………can you believe that for only £1.80 we were given a samosa chaat comprising of:
* Fried Samosa.
* Potato (Bateta).
* Chickpeas (Chana).
* Chaat Masala.
* Tamarind Water (Imli Pani).
* Mix Salad (Tomato, Cucumber and Red Onion).
* Yoghurt (Dahi).
These guys serve up fully loaded Chaats’ which are amongst the cheapest (but the tastiest) we’ve ever come across in the UK, they also serve up Asian savoury treats such as Pakoras, Samosa chaats & Mithai.
We absolutely love a place such as this, a place which reminds us of the Indian Subcontinent’s pavement kitchens’ that provide sustenance for its many inhabitants with the cheapest and tastiest of freshly made food anywhere. Reminding us of the street characters who create food that is blessed by hand and human touch and further energised and charged by positive thoughts.
You can catch them every Sunday at the ever popular Cannon Mills Sunday Market, its a market bazaar which offers Asians a little taste of “back home” right in the heart of Yorkshire (in North England) and so is especially popular with Pakistani, Indian and Asian visitors alike.
