It is a 20-minutes metro ride to campus and is significantly cheaper than other Montreal neighborhoods, including McGill Ghetto and Shaughnessy. In fact, we used to pay $825 per month for a 4 1/2 (2 bedrooms) apartment in Verdun!

If you are a student at these Montreal post-secondary institutions, the first neighborhood I would consider is Little Italy. It is a 20-minutes metro ride to campus.
