Sadly it’s our last day in Scotland and our last from this little road trip series through this awesome country. To go out with a bang we wanted to eat as much Scottish food as possible and visit the Drummond Castle Gardens along the way.
The food of Scotland isn’t just fish and chips and local eats, there’s also a thriving restaurant scene and we got the chance to try some top quality food prepared right in front of us by an incredible chef at The Old Manse of Blair.
Of course theres fish and chips on the agenda along with and Irn Bru and a collection of other local favourites and Scottish treats.
We also stopped off to check out Drummond Castle and the Drummond Gardens – the stuff out of fairytales for sure! If you’re ever in the area you should totally check out the Drummond Gardens regardless of if you’re a ‘garden lover’ or not – they’re seriously impressive!

There is a difficult nine-hole golf course located near the canal and Loch Ness. It was a place we wished to visit during our two months far from home, it simply wasn’t prepared for that day!
